  • Thought itself reinforces the illusory "me" because most thought is self-centered and/or self-reflective.
    Eric Putkonen
  • You must get very quiet and slowly feel your way into this mysterious sense of existence, but be careful, you may fall in love with it. After all, it might be you.

  • "Coming home to Self is to realize deeply through heart, cosmic heart, that this love is you. You are and have only ever been love. The longing for love has been love calling itself home all along."
    Clare Blanchflower
  • Just because someone is enlightened, it doesn’t mean that whatever they happen to be thinking is the truth. Thoughts are thoughts and they are false whether in the enlightened or the unenlightened. Just because we are awake, it doesn’t mean we are never going to be tempted by certain thoughts, emotions, or feelings. Enlightened awareness is eternal and incorruptible. However, the vehicle is not.

  • Psalms 12: "I will lift up mine eyes to the hills from which cometh my help, my help cometh from the lord who made heaven and earth" ....This quote is a mystical attempt to rise out of the basic instincts of the amydila brain (fight/flight/fear/) and ascend into the higher pre-frontal brain. The hill is your skull.....Jesus was crucifed on "Golgotha Hill"...Golgotha means "place of the skull"....And it is believed that the skull of Adam was buried at the crucifixory point of Jesus because it is at the core ouf our humanity...where it meets the threshhold of the divine that we are crucifed and purified in order to become better than what we are. So lifting up your eyes is a meditative affirmation that pulls you out of the depths of your lower nature and into your "christ mind"....your "gnostic awareness" and into your "higher mind."

  • Reference points arise spontaneously. They’re not your reference points so why take ownership? Thinking arises spontaneously in much the same manner as breathing does. While it’s much easier to recognise the automatic nature of the body functions, see clearly that the notion of a reference point, or ego is also just a spontaneous occurrence. If there is no investment in it or sense of ownership, then it can’t be a problem. ~ Kalyani

  • We are the same. The only difference between you and me lies in the ever-changing perceived, not the never-changing perceiver. That perceiver is only One. The One that experiences itself as your body-mind is the same One that experiences itself in every other body-mind, form, or appearance that exists.
    Enza Vita
  • Our thoughts, interests, intentions and actions appear here in the same way that the breath, the wind, the clouds, the trees, and the galaxies appear here—the turbulent, stormy, overcast weather is as integral to this happening as the calm, clear, sunny weather, and none of it is really a problem.
    Joan Tollifson
  • "Life is like playing hide the key with God. God has hidden the key and now it is up to us to find the key again. It also takes us a while to realize that the key is hidden in our own heart. The heart is the door to allow life to guide us. The heart is the door to say "yes" to life. The heart is the door to surrender to life." - Swami Dhyan Giten

  • There's a tendency to look outward to the objects of perception for solutions to our suffering. Turn inwards to the heart of experiencing itself, let go into the unknown. There's nothing more eloquent, nothing more freeing than the direct experience of your own nature, prior to any assumptions, beliefs or conditioning – just this moment, as it is.
