  • Many of us have been told about the background I-AM, which I call the “male principle.” All the spiritual practices we have all been doing are concerned solely with strengthening this male principle I-AM. Practices like witnessing, abiding in the “I” or the Self, and actively raising the Kundalini up the spine, are all concerned with the male background I-AM.But there is another I-AM, a very important one. It has not been talked about, but presents itself again and again in our lives: The “Foreground I-AM”. That foreground I-AM is like Mother Kali who arrives with the noble motive of freeing us from our habitual tendencies (vasanas). But She then intensifies Her attack directly on anything we have latched onto, protected, or guarded. Ego is never really eliminated until Kali visits. Facing Her, the subtlest trace of ego that remains hidden in us is plucked out.

  • It is not in the two of I and other where we truly meet. The Love that is has one heart-broken form of infinite beauty. I meet you there alone.
    Eva Millauer
  • There is no Awareness without movement within Its own stillness. Consciousness is conscious of Itself because of Its inherent movement within. What is real or unreal here is indeed a matter of perception. Hence, the world is as you see it. Whatever you perceive, behold it tenderly; it is alive and throbbing with infinite possibilities of which you are but an expression of love in its pure potentiality...

  • The mind is a butterfly. I am the sky.

  • If you really want to know that which is your own eternal true natural Self, first show you are worthy of that grace by being silent and refusing to continue being owned by a thought stream of delusion.
    John Grenafege
  • Through the inner being, we come in contact with the inner ocean, the undefined and boundless within ourselves, where we are one with life. We realize that God is part of life. We realize that God is not a person, but the consciousness that is part of everything. We find God in a flower, in a tree, in the eyes of a child or in a playful dog." Through discovering our inner being, we discover that we are also part of the flower, the child or the dog. We realize that God is everywhere." - Swami Dhyan Giten

  • In saying YES to the maximum of your capacity in any moment, what unfolds before you offers the potential for deep intimacy. The courage to get right up close to what is, turns you inside out so you become a naked lover of life.

  • Perception doesn't define who we are. But it does define where we are limited, and where we are not yet free.
    Georgi & Bart
  • Realization is simply seeing things as they are without the overlay of imagination. Before 'awakening' things are as they are, and after 'awakening', the same. Only you, as the mind, drops the veils hiding reality. When this 'remembering' happens, (as you see that it was always already there), all that got imagined over time as life being something separate from you, gets to be reexamined and brought back home to the heart. This happens naturally and mysteriously. Why not see things as they are, right now? What are you waiting for? This is life's invitation. And you are life.
