Event Information

Perhaps the greatest paradox of the spiritual life is that we realize we're esssentially eternal, limitless, and all-inclusive, yet we still wake up each morning in a particular body and mind, experiencing life through a particular set of eyes and ears, called upon to relate to particular people and circumstances. Though we know that we’re both nothing and everything, we still find ourselves answering to one name and not another, prefering chocolate to strawberry, laughing at some jokes and not others, and having certain feelings and thoughts but not the feelings and thoughts of the person next to us. How do we dance on this razor's edge between being no one and someone? How do we live our individual humanness, in relationships and work, while never forgetting who we really are?

In this three-day retreat you're invited to ground yourself in your limitless, loving, eternally awake spiritual nature and then explore your own razor's edge, the places where you get stuck as your true nature moves to express itself in form. Knowing that everything is happening just as it must, you have an opportunity to inquire into the beliefs, stories, and habitual patterns that keep you identified--and suffering—in the midst of inherent perfection.

Limited to 25 people, this intimate gathering offers teachings, silent and guided meditations, and ample time for inquiry, dialogue, and individual exploration and discovery.
